No rules for how we should live our lives ever existed other than those that were made in the minds of men

If you’re wondering about how I came to be the co-owner of this blog, let me tell you.

Before I Found My Purpose

Throughout my life, the topic of business has rarely caught my attention. My father is a very successful businessman and I have always been provided for. In fact, until recently I’ve never had to worry about money – ever. My loving parents made sure that I got every single thing that I needed, and that’s partially why I’m here now, writing this.

I’ll be completely honest with you – during my childhood I was a spoiled brat. I knew only of merit or sacrifice through concepts I had learned. I would spend my allowance like it was going out of style – only to ask for more.

When I left the family nest to go and study in London, it soon became clear that cash flow and financial security were very REAL things that I knew absolutely nothing about!

I tried employment for a while, only to fall into my preconditioned habits. After all, I believed that it was OK to spend my money unwisely and then ask for more when I ran out.

I felt that I could not provide for myself and my partner at the time, and I began a downward spiral of addictions; smoking, drinking and online gaming among many other things. My self esteem, confidence, patience and resolve were worn out within months and I felt as if the addictions were the only way to escape the suffering I lived through each day.

The final nails in the coffin were my breakup with a long term partner and having to find new owners for my dog, for I could no longer support him. I turned almost exclusively to alcohol to keep the pain away and I entered the darkest time in my life.

Introspection and Meeting Marj

If you asked me to name the biggest influence in my life, without hesitation I would say it was meeting Marj Galangco.

When I met Marj back in 2007 I was just coming out of a period of deep depression. I had spent a long time alone, finally getting to know who I really was and exploring why I thought and acted the way I did. Marj really helped me through the last of it and opened up my world to new paradigms and views.

She has consistently provided for me in the areas of love, support and companionship and at the same time she has been a very powerful teacher, working with me to find the truths about who we are both internally and externally. Without Marj, I am not sure what I would be doing right now, suffice to say I would probably not be here, writing this.

Even today, I still experience conditioned responses that have the power to stop me from getting what I really want in life. However, through introspection and evaluation, Marj and I are forming the life that we deserve and each step that we take is a step in the right direction.

Introspection has allowed me to find the flaws in my personal beliefs about why I could not have what I desired, and why I engaged in self-destructive behaviors to make sure that my quality of life was consistent with how I saw myself. In this blog I will be documenting some of my inner journeys towards empowerment.

The Future

Until now I have been sharing our journey toward success with only a handful of people. From this point forward, I would like to also share it with you, so that you can learn from the successes and failures that we make as we travel up the mountain of success.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay on easisell.com/blog, and I wish you all the best in your personal and business endeavours.

Be all you can be,

Clément
